How to use Kaolin Clay?

Kaolin Clay

Kaolin Clay is a versatile cosmetic ingredient that offers gentle cleansing, exfoliating, and purifying benefits for both skin and hair.

Kaolin clay is especially well known for having a neutral pH level that makes it an ideal skincare product for people with sensitive skin. Since it’s infamous for being mild, Kaolin clay proves to be an excellent cleanser not only for your face but for hair and teeth as well. It’s rich in minerals like silica, kaolinite, quartz, etc., and has been used for centuries in China which is why it’s also called China clay. It’s widely used in a range of cosmetics and also has antibacterial properties that provide healing benefits to treat any skin inflammation and irritation.

What is Kaolin Clay?

It is a great all-natural cleanser that can be substituted for chemical-based facewash, toothpaste, and shampoos. It deep cleans and unclogs your pores, extracts dirt, and prevents skin/scalp irritation. It can promote hair growth by thoroughly cleaning the scalp and removing any toxins that might hamper it. Kaolin clay absorbs excess oil and sebum from your skin without making it itchy or extremely dry. It works its magic with its soft touch that gently scrapes off the dead skin cells, leaving your skin to look smoother and cleaner. Additionally, it can boost collagen production and make your skin appear more radiant.
